How to create an EU Login account with Two-Factor Authentication

To access restricted pages of EURES, you need to have an EU Login account with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and then register for a EURES account.

EU Login is the European Commission's user authentication service. It allows authorised users to access a wide range of Commission web services.

1. Create your EU Login account with 2FA

  1. Step 1
    Create your EU Login

    Create your EU Login (https://ec.europa.eu/eures/portal/um/my-eures).

Important: EU Login account using social account sign in (Like Facebook etc) will not work for EURES user account registration.

  2. Step 2
    Add Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

You can add 2FA from your account: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/cas/userdata/myAccount.cgi.

We recommend to use the EU mobile app verification method, as the Mobile Phone with SMS authentication method may not work for all countries.

*Please refer to the EU Login help page for more information on single and multi-factor authentications.
